Michael and Carly Hester exchanged their vows in front of close family members on a gorgeous Colorado day in September this year. Golden aspen leaves sparkled on both the branches and the forest floor.
This was one of my absolute favorites of my 2014 season.
What made this wedding stand out was the perfect location, weather, intimacy and simplicity of the day. No stress, no concerns, only smiles and encouragement.
The location was carefully scouted by the bride. A location so remote at the top of Poncha Pass that I was honestly impressed that my little red sports car made it without incident.
But oftentimes, the harder the journey, the greater the reward.
